I particularly like working with the desktop Studio drives because they all have the same power cord which is an industry standard electrical cord.  I’m not constantly trying to match up the correct power adaptor with the correct hard drive.  I’m constantly finishing and starting new projects, so it’s a blessing to just switch out the drive and use the same power cord.  Otherwise, I have to fish out the correct plug from difficult to reach places - always frustrating.
