Before You Call

  • What is the Glyph Model number and serial number?
You can find this on the back of rack units, and on the bottom of tabletop units, or on the paper that came with your system. Still no luck? Check the original box, there should be a label on the end with the information.)
  • What model initiator are you using? (Macintosh G5, Pentium 4 PC, Kurzweil K2500?)
  • What operating system are you running?
  • What DAW and/or NLE software are you using and what version is it?
  • What is the connectivity to your Glyph devices - FireWire, USB, SCSI, or eSATA?
  • Are there any other devices connected to your computer?
  • If you're using SCSI, what are the SCSI addresses (ID numbers) for each device?
  • What host bus adapter card are you using?

This is where you sign-in as a Glyph customer, and register your Glyph products. Then we can activate your warranties, and all that good stuff, so that you get the best support possible!

If you bought your Glyph product a while ago, but never got around to filling out and mailing the paper registration card, you can register it here and activate your warranty.

So please answer a few questions and we'll get you going.

If you're interested, here is Glyph's Privacy Policy.

Product Registration

In the form below, please enter the Glyph Part# and Glyph Serial# for your product(s). We'll also need the Purchase Date and the Dealer where you bought it.

About Part# and Serial#

The Part# and Serial# (S/N) are printed on the product label attached to the unit. For example, a GT 050 FireWire tabletop with a 120GB drive might be:
Part# = GT0501F-120
Serial# (S/N) = GLY000123

About GT Keys

Some early production GT Keys (FireWire Hot-swap cartridges) were labelled differently depending on whether or not they came with an enclosure, and which type of enclosure. The GT Key may have its own unique Part#, or the same Part# as the enclosure, or no Part# at all. The GT Key Serial# may be unique, or the same as the enclosure, with or without a "dash-number" suffix.

If your GT Key label has two numbers, the one starting with "GTKEY" is the Part#, and the other one (starting with "GLY" or "GLT") is the Serial# (S/N).

If your GT Key label has only one number, it's the Serial#. Leave the Part# blank for that GT Key's line.

Each enclosure (tabletop or rack-mount) and GT Key cartridge gets registered on a separate line. If an item has the same purchase date and/or dealer as the item above it in the list, just leave the date or dealer blank on the duplicates.
