Industrial Strength Storage

The GT 205 is Glyph's flagship system designed for the utmost in storage capacity, options and performance. Applications where multiple drives are needed, such as audio and video production, will benefit from having four GT drive bays that can hold FireWire 400 or FireWire 800 GT Key™ hot-swap drives. The 2U enclosure features Glyph's integrity™ FireWire hot-swap interface, three internal power supplies and a near-silent fan. GT Key drives can be interchanged with the GT 051™ tabletop and the GT 103™ 3-bay 1U enclosures.

Expansion bay options

The expansion bay of the GT 205 has it's own FireWire 400 connections on the back of the rack. The bay can house an AIT tape backup drive (SCSI or FireWire, capacities up to 200GB), SCSI or FireWire hot-swap receiving bay, or DVD-R/RW.

Stylish Protective Enclosure

The GT 205 is constructed with a scratch-resistant black powder-coated aluminum chassis, as well as a unique 1/8" thick brushed stainless steel face plate. The aluminum chassis offers additional heat transfer properties while allowing the GT 205 to be lightweight.

Professional Power

Professionals know that high quality power is one of the most important components in any piece of equipment. Glyph uses three internal power supplies in the GT 205, as well a quiet fan. The power supplies are fully auto-switching international use.

Front Panel Connectivity

The GT 205 includes a front-panel FireWire 400 port which allows you to connect other legacy FireWire devices to your computer without having to climb around the back of your rack-mounted gear.
