PortaGig SSD is an external Solid State Drive small enough to fit into your pocket, and is available in 32GB, 64GB, 128GB, and 192GB capacities. Designed for the highest speed possible in a portable drive footprint, PortaGig SSD delivers high reliability, low power consumption and anti-shock features.

PortaGig SSD has no moving parts, subsequently eliminating the possibility of mechanical failure resulting from vibration, shock, and heat. The PortaGig SSD features a black, anodized aluminum case, measures approximately 3 inches wide by 5 inches long, and a little under an inch thick. Incorporating Oxford’s 934 chip, it can transfer data at 85MB/sec using the FireWire 800 port. The back panel offers a power switch, two FireWire 800 ports, and a USB 2.0 port, guaranteeing compatibility with Mac, Windows, and Linux systems.
The new PortaGig SSD comes in four capacities: 32GB ($399 list), 64GB ($579 list), 128GB ($1,019 list), and the largest capacity, 192GB ($1,429 list).
